Topic: Fonts

Fonts for captioning and subtitling are a topic of additional interest at the Open & Closed Project. Those two fields are expressed in written words; hence typography is the instrument of captioning and subtitling. Readability and legibility of caption and subtitle fonts is important if the goal is to provide actual accessibility.

The Open & Closed Project has already begun work on improved fonts for captions and subtitles through its Screenfont activity.
